These terms apply to quote requests and private passenger transport bookings made with York Shire Transfer Ltd.
Quotes and confirmation
Submitting a website form or WhatsApp message is a request for a quote and does not by itself create a confirmed booking. A journey is confirmed only when we accept it and communicate the agreed journey details and price to you.
Same-day and advance bookings
Same-day airport service is offered for selected regional airports subject to driver and vehicle availability. Long-distance airports, including London airports, are normally booked for the next day or later. We may accept or decline any request where safe and reliable fulfilment is not possible.
Journey details
You are responsible for giving accurate pickup, destination, date, time, passenger, luggage and contact information. Please tell us about unusually large luggage, mobility requirements, child-seat requirements or other special needs before the booking is confirmed.
Airport pickups
Where you provide a flight number, we may use available flight information to help coordinate collection. Flight information does not guarantee a particular collection time if circumstances outside our control change. Any waiting arrangements or charges will be communicated as part of the booking where applicable.
Vehicle and capacity
The service is designed around a Mercedes-Benz Vito with capacity for up to 9 passengers, subject to the actual licensed configuration in use for the journey. Passenger numbers and luggage must remain within safe and lawful limits.
Conduct and safety
We may refuse or end a journey where passenger conduct creates a safety risk, involves unlawful activity, causes serious disruption, or is likely to damage the vehicle. Reasonable cleaning or damage costs caused by passengers may be charged where legally recoverable.
Delays outside our control
Traffic, road closures, severe weather, accidents, airport disruption and other events outside our reasonable control can affect journey times. We plan journeys with reasonable care but cannot guarantee arrival times where such events intervene.
Payment
The price, payment method and payment timing will be agreed as part of your booking confirmation. Additional stops or material changes requested after confirmation may change the fare.
